I just found a nail pop in my ceiling. Any suggestions as to who to call to fix it? The builder says I'm out of the period that they are responsible.

My property home has tons of nail pops. We hear them happen at night when the house is quiet. My property is now 12 years old. It will keep happening. Not sure who you call to fix it. Maybe a handyman. But get ready to be calling him a lot. I just live with mine.

Do yours protrude through the ceiling drywall? Mine do, and make the ceiling look bad. I called Carolina Drywall, but they aren't returning my call.

A few of mine do. Not sure who you should call but if I find out I'll let you know.

I wish they would have used screws instead. You can probably pull the nail out and cover it up with some spackling and touch it up with the old paint if you still have it. Or try to tap it back in with a nail set and a hammer and do the same thing. Chances are you will get more of them.

Pull them and go back in with drywall screws, that is what they are for, nails are the cheap way out.....

Then follow the above advice of filling and repainting.....
