I'd advise to call any rental that you think fits your criteria and just ask about a short-term. The price will surely be more, but that's what you're gonna find with most all short-term rentals.

I got lucky in MtP with a 3bd/2ba, 1200 sqft condo for under $1k on a 6 month lease. I'm now on 3 month terms and pay $1k even. To sweeten the pot for our landlord we pay all up front instead of monthly. He gets all his money at the beginning of each term and doesn't have to worry if he's gonna get paid. We're all happy with this arrangement.

Be creative and make some offers.

We're moving to Summerville and also need short-term rental that will allow 2 (indoor) German Shepherds and 3 cats for our family and are will to pay in advance for 3-6 months. However, we need a house with a yard for our dogs and 4 year son.
