There are tons of mothers day out programs in Charlotte. What area are you in and what ages do you need a program for? That will help us to answer your question!! If you are in South Charlotte, Calvary Church has a great program 704-341-5361. So does Carmel Christian 704-849-9723. They tend to fill up very fast at signup time (usually the January preceeding the next school year). But, you never know - I know people that have gotten in off wait lists. There are MANY others. Let me know where you are in Charlotte and maybe I can help more.

What exactly is a "mother's day out" program? Is it a drop in program to use only when you need it (i.e. when you have appointments you don't want to take the kids to)? If that is the case, how does a program like that work when they never know how many kids will be there at a given time?

A mothers morning out program is usually a church-sponsored program on certain days of the week for a couple of hours. Generally people use them consistently so the church has a good idea of how many kids to plan for, and the moms (or dads) can schedule appointments or other things for those times. Usually they are 2 mornings a week, though the hours can vary depending on the facilities.

To the OP - what area of town are you in?
