We are relocating to Charlotte area, say 30 mile radius either way, We want to rent first for 1 yr to make sure this is the place, my wife will work from home, We have been searching for a rental 4beds with 2 garages, 2 plus baths, there is a bunch of them, we want to stay under 1100, we found plenty of them , my question is we are looking for a quiet area, nice modern neighborhood, with the big stores within 10 miles, ie;wamart, small malls, resturants, don't want city life no more, statesville looks good, cary, any suggestions, we have been preapproved all ready, house needs to be clean and modern, please give me some areas, we also love water areas, lake norman awesome but pricey

I did a quick search and found a few homes that meet your criteria. I found some that were everywhere and still near water (10-15 minutes drive).

If you are interested then you can DM me.

Yeah, Cary busts your 30 mile radius by quite a bit.

Your wife is working from home, but where are YOU working?

As far as being on/near the lakes, I don't believe either lake has much "public" access, so if you're not on the water, or have private access associated with the home, you might not be reaping much of a benefit by being simpley being close to, rather than on, the lake.

We are in Concord (near Huntersville) and we are close to everything. The neighborhood is Winding Walk. We aren't far from Uptown, I85, I77 and I485.
