I've advertised our community yard sale on Craig's List & Kijiji (which is now part of Ebay Classifieds) both of which are free. You have to be a member to post on any of the "Mommies" groups (Lake Norman Mommies, Charlotte Mommies, etc...it's a national network). I've also heard of a site called Yard Sale. We've also done paid ads with the local paper.

The last time I had a yard sale(100 years ago) there was no craigslist or advertising on the internet. I was wondering if that was a good place. Thank you!
In one yard sale I had in Huntersville I offer mention they saw this yard sale on CL and if they did I gave 25% discount
That's a great idea Sunny! When we list the community yard sale on CL, I always get a few emails asking for particular items. I usually list them on another posting the night before the sale.
I've sold stuff before on CL without any problems. I'll be listing some stuff in the next week for sale, mostly holiday & Christmas village stuff.
Thanks everyone. Hope she gets lots of buyers!!!!!
