I guess I've been living in the dark. So if my son backs his car in to a parking spot, it's a signal to others? Does this apply to all parking lots or just "meet-up" spots? Sorry for the ignorance. Just trying to figure out if I need to have a talk with my son, LOL.
I had no clue, either. Dang. I can't believe everyone knows that this is a "signal" and I am totally clueless. I am now wondering how many times hubby and I have backed into parking spaces at rest areas while traveling, lol.
I thought exactly the same thing about backing into a parking spot which I regularly do. Funnily enough this morning I came out of my house and my husband had backed in as he had his bike rack on the back and didn't want anyone to see it but I did have a bit of a chuckle
Is this the park near Park Rd. and Tyvola? I had no idea it was sketchy. Any newspaper stories or something about it? I live about 1 mile from there.
It's not really any "sketchier" than other parks around Charlotte. Sadly this gay meetup stuff happens in MANY of our parks around the city. A couple of summers ago police did a few sting operations and came up with perps in every park they worked. Park Rd Park is not dangerous, though as a woman I'd hesitate to frequent large parks like that alone unless the park were very busy, like on Sundays
