Also, wonder if the Ghazi who owns this property is the one who just filed
bankruptcy on the Epi-Center?

Stay AWAY from this drive in and anything else Ashin Ghazi has his dirty paws on!

Do drive in's still have a purpose other than for nostalgic value? I had no idea they are still around. Seems kind of pointless to me with all the real movie theaters around here. Heck, I would rather watch a movie at home than go to a drive in.

I would definitely think they still have a purpose. The ones I went to were always cheaper than a theater, so its a great way to save some money. Its always a good family outing because its OK for your kids to talk and run around a little. Its also just an overall fun experience. Drive ins are just overall good fun.

Different strokes for different folks..."real" movie theaters are a totally different experience than drive-ins.....

I would think they absolutely do serve a purpose.

Nostalgic for me, I loved taking my Daughter to a drive in, just to experience it. I grew up going to them, it was the closest and most affordable theater when I was a kid. And its much better listening to the movie on your car radio, not a crackly sounding speaker hanging on your window.

This one was $7...not worth it in my opinion. Maybe for $5, but if I am going to pay $7 I might as well pay $10 and go to a real theater.

This one was overpriced. I believe all of the other ones in our area charge by the carload ($6-$8). You also get 2 movies for that price.
