Dude, this is the south, we take matters into our own hands here. No one is going to pay someone to come out and get a snake. It's nothing a quick shovel to the head won't cure.

Several weeks ago I had a snake in my bedroom that fortunately my cleaning lady found and swept out of my house. I would have paid anything had it been me who found it...

Default Snakes in your house!

I'm set to move to NC in a couple of weeks...Is it common place to have a snake in your house??? Nothing against them for those that like um....but I am not looking forward to that aspect of the south. Staying out of wooded areas and areas where they roam is one thing, but in my house and all over the place is a whole other story!!!

I killed several in my basement, when I lived in the foothills of NC.
You get pretty handy with a hoe after some practice.
