I am looking to live in the Uptown area. I have been off and on looking around the Charlotte area for awhile now but i am not in any hurry. I work in the South Park mall area of town but live in Rock Hill, SC. Not looking to make that commute anymore and looking to live a more city enviroment/around people my age. BTW, i am a 22 single male. I have been looking at both studio and 1br 1bath apartments but mostly at the major complexes. I am trying to branch out from the complexes to find deals on condo's or individual leases. Any susgestions on different areas of uptown? Places to stay away from? Any tips?
Thanks in advance.

Talk to a realtor or property management company?

Check out the Catalyst - we live there & they lease on a montly basis. When it was built, the real estate market was tanking & they couldn't sell the units, so they went to 100% renting/leasing. So many young people! Great amenities. We love living downtown - so cool.
