I'm hosting half-a-dozen corporate-types next week and I reckon we'll be somewhere around Baxter Village/Hwy 160 W come lunch time. I'm Not familiar with the area, so if anyone could pass along some dining suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Depending on time, we might either be looking for a 5-minute grab-a-sandwich option (Panera?) or a 'nicer' establishment if they can turn-around lunch in approx 30 minutes.

Many thanks!

Sure....

Fratelli - Italian. It is pretty good.
Liu Liu - Asian. It's fine but I hated the chicken fried rice
Fish Market - Probably the nicest and biggest restaurant in Baxter.
Sweet Peppers - Kinda like Just Fresh, if you've ever been there.

I think with the crowd you'll be with I would suggest Fish Market or Fratellis.

Fish Market Bar and Grill - Baxter Village - Fort Mill, South Carolina - Seafood Restaurant
Fratelli - Ristorante & Pizzeria - Genuine Italian Cuisine at Baxter Village in Fort Mill, SC - Minutes from Charlotte, NC

Six Pence Pub is over there too, and I've heard good things about it. They are probably pretty quick for lunch.

Six Pence is very good. I live nearby and go there often. Fratelli is another solid place. All the Italian dishes I've had have been great. Pizza is good too. I would NOT recommend Sweet Pepper deli. I've been twice and the food was subpar at best.

Yeah, forgot about that one because I'm always on the bar side of it. Haha, but the restaurant side is pretty nice.
