Is there a good place for bbq in the area? )) This might be my next thread, because I really don't know of any yet. I am new here!

Ok, I should specify that we only moved here a few weeks ago from WI and I thought it would be fun to watch the Superbowl with other Packer fans in the area, preferably somewhere in the Southpark area. Any suggestions?

Taco Mac is right over there near Southpark at 4625 Piedmont Row Dr. Personally, I have never been there but I know of several people that really enjoy going there to watch football.

Packer Bars List 3

Scroll down to North Carolina. There are half a dozen listed in Charlotte. Can't say I've been to any to vouch for them, but it's someplace to start. (Not to start something, but go pack go!)

Yes, Lexington, N.C. is about the closest I am told. Good BBQ is hard to find in Charlotte, but big screen sports come by the hundreds.

Fox and hound, Wild wing Cafe [uptown, they have great bar and great bar staff, and great wings] Taco mac has lots of tv's but their wait staff is not the best and their beers are expensive but they do have a huge selection. Thats just my top 2 places to watch sports with good drink specials. Plenty out there tho.

Strike city has a lot of TVs but this by far worst place Ive ever gone. I went in this past sunday to watch XGames, it was very quiet I ask bartender to change a tv to XGames she went over and asked a manager who was sitting down in a booth causally talking to other employees. I waited 15 mins before leaving. Wont have that problem on superbowl but when they get busy its hard to even walk to the bathroom there

- Taco Mac beside southpark mall. Tons of tvs, nice atmosphere..new
- Hickory Tavern (Ballantyne location and steele creek locations have the best tvs)
- Fox and Hound (any location)

In that order
