I don't remember what time it was, but probably after 10:00 PM, low in the eastern sky, I saw what I can only describe as a fireball. It was an orange/yellow colored, pulsing light that didn't look like any aircraft I've seen. It moved slowly north, and disappeared after a couple minutes.
I actually saw something last week on the way home from work. It was about 5:15-5:30 and I was at the stop light in front of Rimz on Main St. in Mooresville.
I saw something impossibly bright over head, like a mini sun. It wasn't blinking or moving. I looked around to see if anyone else was making a fuss, and when I looked back up it had gone from the left side of the sky all the way to the right.
Residents in the Wilmington area reported seeing similar fireball last night about 7:30pm. Also there has been a huge increase in earthquakes here in the southeast over the last few days.
Ain't ever seed no streetlamp that moved 'cross the sky.
Citizen,
I assure you that it was a street lamp and that any movement was an illusion created by swamp gas. If you are still unceratin, please give us your address and we will send agents to investigate and take appropriate action.
