As of 8:30pm Tuesday, 485 has one lane open in each direction where it crosses 51 in Pineville. The ramps to exit onto 51 North (toward Park Road) are still blocked. From the highway, it looked like the whole center where Best Buy is (Centrum) is dark. The mall looked open but empty.
Arg so you are saying that tomorrow's commute will be ugly too. Dropping off at preschool today was really hellish The trip that takes 15 min normally took an hour, 20 minutes.

Some Duke Energy customers in Gaston, Cleveland and Lincoln counties may be without electric power until 11 p.m. Thursday. York County, S.C., customers should have power restored by 11 p.m. Wednesday.
