Great now you guys have me craving things I can't get right now. Hmmm how do I convince hubby we MUST go to Charlotte this weekend??
Where's your nearest Ingles? You can get pie and cake along with doughnuts & sometimes you can even get scones. If they're out of scones get peanut butter fudge instead.

I think there is an Ingles in Morganton. Hubby works there but we don't shop in them at all. Maybe next trip to see Daddy at work we can stop in! Are they really good? I don't mind the grocery bakery goods but they don't make me say WOW or crave them!

I know that there is an Ingles in Morganton, but what I don't know is whether they have the in store bakery. Kings Mountain does, if you come down this way. I also don't know about the Dallas store. Kings Mountain is the biggest size that they built 3 years ago. I've heard that Lake Lure has the same size. They usually will cut up cake & pie to sell by the slice. I've tried a couple & really, if you can get it, I'd save the gas to Charlotte for more difficult to find items, if you know what I mean.
