Depending on where you are, but possibly deer, fox, hummingbirds, cardinals, opossum, snakes, owls, rabbits, sasquatch, vultures, hawks, eagles, crows, buzzards, turkeys, blue jays, bob whites, whippoorwills, and woodpeckers. You might even see a bear or bobcat.

Sitting in my backyard, field mice, goats, donkeys, and on dark nights the occasional boogeyman.

What does a cicada look like? I think I am certainly hearing them, but I won't go near the woods at night!

HGONZ - definitely not the stuff you see in FL! There was a deer and a fox in our backyard right after closed on our house in January, but I haven't seen anything like that since. I have seen deer in the area though. Watch out as they will run in front of your car! I see lightning bugs, blue jays, some red birds (cardinals?), an occasional snake, and I even saw a beautiful yellow and black bird. My neighbor claims to have seen a coyote in her backyard, and I did see some unidentified big black animal at night running across the yard 2 doors down from me a few weeks ago. The noises that will come from your backyard, especially if you will be in a wooded area are amazing (and a little scary).

Squirrels, lots of squirrels.

Bright yellow bird with black is an American Goldfinch.
