NYE Spots...where is everyone going and any recommendations on where to go! (Charlotte: hotel)

So, I posted previously that some friends and I are coming to Charlotte for NYE (New Year's Eve). Someone recommended that I come back closer to the date to see about the events happening around that time.

So here I am, what are folks plans for NYE 2012 and does anyone have any recommendations for us. (Group of 4 single, AA women ages 25-30).

Someone recommended 5th element and another place called MAZ. Has anyone been to this places, what was your take on the atomsphere?

Get a Creative Loafing newspaper. It list all the hot spots. If you can't find one, they are on the internet.
