Ok, he bought 476 dollars of merchandise, did he actually think Wally World would have $999,544 in change. He bought a vacuum, I hope it was a Dyson and a microwave that I hope it had all the bells and whistles.
Only in Lexington......... oh wait Im from there.
Oh wait, I have a million dollar bill in my retirement jar
I was SO hoping the story was from Lexington, Kentucky and not NC.

That is what the news article that is in my first post in this thread.
It says, that the town in question is Lexington, NC.

LEXINGTON, N.C. (AP) -- Do you have change for a million-dollar bill?
Police say a North Carolina man insisted his million-dollar note was real when he was buying $476 worth of items at a Walmart.
I was a little worried that I was posting in the wrong forum and Sunny the Mod would chase me away to another place on City-Data but, it turns out that Lexington can see us from there so it worked out OK.
As amusing as is the thread topic itself, it's also amusing me that the title makes it seem like there's a town called "Walmart, NC".
Was this an accident? Could be, but then again, direct from WallyWorld, NC...
