We are a newer business that is currently working as a mobile service. We are looking to expand into a small shop somewhere near Monroe, Indian Trail, Matthews, Mint Hill, Midland, Locust, or the west side of Albemarle. I live in New Salem, so I would like to be within 20-25 minutes of home. I'm looking for a good value for my money and I'm willing to take an older shop and fix it up if needed . We perform wheel refinishing, paintless dent removal, glass chip repair, paint chip repair, and light mechanical work. Lifts are not required, but I would like a shop where i could install my own lift.

If the building needs paint or repairs, I'm ok with that. We can fix anything.

I'm willing to take a look at anything in the areas mentioned above. I'm also willing to share shop space with another company. Let me know if you have, or know of anything.

Do you have a Backyard shop? I'm interested in the garage space.

Please respond here, or email me at datdaz84@gmail.com

Well friend I assume that you can pass the credit and ID check and all that first. Everything needs to be up front and legal you know.. Where are you from? You really need to check with a rental agent , He can arange all the papers and stuff you will need to sign etc. Hate to say it but your post gives the impression you may be trying to fly under the radar for some reason..... Checking around to work in someones backyard doing a legit business seems kind of odd...

I already have my business license for Union County. I moved down here from Ohio back in August. I had a successful business there, but we really don't know anybody here. It's basically like starting over. As much as I've been trying to drum up business here, I only have 4 accounts so far. I mentioned somebody's backyard shop because I really only need a place to work on the cars, since my small 2 car garage at my new house is just too small to do the work that I need to do. I can pass the credit and ID check just fine. I have references from past shops that I rented. Plus I still own my home in Ohio. The main thing I'm looking at is cost. I don't want to rent a shop for $1500 per month because we're just starting out. Once we get rolling for another year or so, and create more accounts, I can move into a better location. I'm just looking for an inexpensive place to get started from.

For what you are looking for, there are many warehouse facilities in the Stallings and Indian Trail area just off 74. If you check, you may find someone to sublet half of a building or even a 1/4. Try the Smith Farm rd and Gribble rd. area. You shouldn't have a problem finding what your looking for. I use to refere to that area as "start up alley".

I may have found something, but I'm still looking. Those shops down on Gribble are something I'm heading out to look at today.

There is a place on 74 in Indian Trail near the Walmart. I think it used to be a BMW repair shop? If you are heading towards Matthews it is before the car wash place on the right.
