Jamaican Food (Charlotte, Davidson, Welcome: restaurant, place, central)

Hello All,

My sister is visiting Charlotte this weekend and wants to know where she can find a some GOOD Jamaican Food. I was there about 2 weeks ago and visited a place off of W Sugar Creek. The food was ok. Any suggestions.

While not officailly Jamaican but more Caribbean is Anntonys Caribbean Cafe. It has been here for years and is really good.

Looking at the website I did not realize they had a Sugar Creek locale. Is this the one you ate at?

There is another Caribbean style restaurant at the corner of Central and Pecan, I have never eaten there before so I can't comment on how good it is.

On Central, I believe it is called Mama's Jamaican (right beside Reggae Central). On Plaza by Mattheson, there is Sweet Spice. On North Davidson, there is Addie's...enjoy!
