Hi, I'm moving to charlotte next month and would like some information on the Carriage House condo's? Is it a nice area? Is it a safe area? Any and all feedback would be nice!!!

Thank You
Well....
I wouldn't personally live in that area, but plenty of people obviously do!
I would suggest you spend some time in the area in the daylight and at night to get a feel for who your neighbors would be and what the area is really like.
I wouldn't live there as well. The gas stations at that corner used to have lots of people loitering behind the buildings, to me it looked like a good place for someone to set up shop. Police have stepped up their presence and there's less activity, but it's just moved somewhere else close by. CMPD has said its the worst area in South CLT. The area on Archdale closer to 77 is a known drug haven. Personally, I would stay away.
Ditto. Back in the 70's I had friends that lived there (they were apartments back then), but the whole area has changed over the decades. It's not the worst area by any means, but I would think twice before moving there now.
Safer areas to consider, Quail Hollow Rd (The Hamptons, Alexander Place), Fairview Rd (The Fairington, Camden Foxcroft), Providence Rd (Strawberry Hill), Rea Rd (Fairways at Piper Glen). Ballantyne Commons Parkway also has many newer apt complexes. Map them out on google maps and take note of other apt complexes in these areas.
