Rosedale shopping center in Huntersville exit 23. Notice a new place will be opening by the Great Clips end. Donut King, love my donuts I m glad there will be another option besides DK. I will update later when it opens. The new goodwill on Statesville Rd. in Huntersville also looks like it will opening sometime soon. I heard the end of September. The lights are on.

That it good news. Sounds as if they are locating in the former Quiznos. I don't care much for DK either.

A new Donut King at Rosedale? What a brilliant strategic move!! Huntersville PD just opened their new HQ in the business park nearby.

Thats cool, I wish it was not cake doughnuts though, and made from scratch in the place like Brits at Carolina Beach.
Anything besides another Sushi joint. I think there is 3 in that shopping center and one across the street.

The Hot dog joint on the corner I forget the name but where Sunny's use to be, grills the hot dogs and if you clean your plate they give a free scoop of ice cream.

^Believe it or not, there are 6 Asian restaurants in that little area. JinJin, Noodletasia, Fusion 108, Yoshi's Grill, Star Sushi, and Roppa..?.whatever Sushi. This isn't counting the sushi bars in HT & Earth Fare. Bi-Lo used to serve sushi too, but they closed it.

Your right, I forgot about the one that is located in what use to be a sports bar and I think one is in what use to be hair salon beside Battery Plus.

I know the area caters demographic but I was in mood for southern cuisine last week and there isnt a restaurant in area.
I use to go K&W for my fix but it being converted to a Sushi Buffet.

Cookout in Shops on the Green is only place, I like they give complimentary soup and it is cheap but the soup & veggies taste like they came out of a can.

Oh my I didn't know that about K&W.

The only other place that I can think of in the area that has some southern cooking is Lupies in Huntersville.

Lupies is gross. Where is the love in their cooking? A lot of their food tastes canned to me.
If I want southern food, I drive all the way to Plaza Midwood in Charlotte and eat at Dish. I've begged the owner a few times to open a location in Huntersville. She said that she was looking at a spot in Corneilius but someone beat her to it.

BTW, what is Donut King? I am assuming a donut shop. Is it better than Dunkin Donuts.
