Versage - Mint Hill Neighborhood (Charlotte: homes, subdivision, places to live)

How is the Versage subdivision of Mint Hill? I drove through this afternoon and it has wonderful homes and looks pretty safe. From previous CD posts, it's been called a "rancid" place. What makes it so bad?

I live in Mint Hill and whenever I have been there it seems quiet.

"Rancid"?? Can you copy and paste the post you saw that one? I can't imagine why someone would describe it that way.

I was hoping by reading the context in which the word "rancid" was used that the comment would make sense to me, but it doesn't.

And unfortunately, that poster is long gone so we can't ask him what he meant, though it is worth noting he made the comment more than 3 years ago.

The area Versage is in is not bad at all. There are certainly worse places to live in and around Charlotte
