I second Libretto's. I haven't tried their Ballantyne location, but the one at Epicentre uptown is GREAT!!!

Luigi's Pizza in Steele Creek was selected as best pizza in town a couple of yrs ago....Brooklyn style....love this place.

It's not technically in Charlotte, but I've always found La Strada in Wesley Chapel a good go-to pie. Very Long Island.
