Hi Everyone,

I will be headed to Charlotte next week for an interview and would like information on a good hotel. My interview will be near 5800 Executive Center Drive in Charlotte. Cost is not a concern but I have a morning interview and want to make sure I am there at least 30 minutes prior as I know traffic can be bad. Thanks in advance for the help!

I wouldn't stay anywhere in Charlotte near where you are interviewing. Instead I'd recommend about 5 miles away in Matthews:

Hampton Inn
9615 Independence Pointe Pkwy, Matthews, NC

If you HAD to stay on the Blvd. the only place I'd even think about is:

Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlotte
8540 E Independence Blvd, Charlotte, NC

Everywhere else should be considered sketchy. You could also stay Uptown but I think the easiest and most reliable choice would be the Hampton Inn.

Yep, the area where you're interviewing is no bueno for staying overnight. I'd just stay in an Uptown hotel and drive there in the morning. Traffic from Uptown to your interview should be a breeze, considering you'd be going in the opposite direction of traffic flow. Stay Uptown and enjoy a nice dinner the night before. Staying somewhere off Independence wouldn't be my first choice.
