If anyone is interested Groupon has a deal on Charlotte Checkers Hockey games. The Checkers are the AHL affiliate to the Carolina Hurricanes and are currently 2nd in their Division with the playoffs looming. They play at the TWC Arena and it is a great family outing. I take the kids there at leat 4 times a year. If you never have been to a Hockey game you will be in for a treat, fast paced and tons of action. Take a look at the groupon site and give the Checker's a try. By the way I do not work for the team, just a fan of Hockey. It would also be nice to see a Charlotte area team in the Playoffs!
