Anyone going to see Clapton tonight? I'm looking forward to it, should be a good show.

He's been inducted into the RNR HOF three times (for solo, for Cream and for The Yardbirds). I guess he could make it in another three times if they ever decide to put in Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominoes. I don't see them ever putting in John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers but maybe they will someday.

I'd love to but it did not work out for me this time. I'd even like to see the Wallflowers too (at least 2-3 songs)

Would really love to see him and JJ Cale do their version of After Midnight.

This is one time where I am not interested in the opening band at all. I don't even know anything they do except for that David Bowie cover, which is not terrible.

There is slim to none chance of this happening but it'd be great if Sting showed up and they did It's Probably Me.

I saw EC on the tour after his son died, and he'd done the unplugged album. He was great but obviously not at his best. "Tears in Heaven" was a tearjerker.

They didn't play Layla, I don't recall ever hear an audience going "whaaaaat?" after the last encore. It was a good show, though.

I was hoping Clapton would show up at the Double Door Inn for a surprise gig like he did after his March 1982 concert in Charlotte.

He's getting a little long in the tooth, so he probably hit the sack right after the concert!

I was there! Enjoyed the show but also said, "What? No Layla?" I would have loved hearing him play Pretending too, hoped he would have played it All in all, it was still a good show!
