Request for info (Charlotte, Concord: to rent, daycares, big home)

My husband and I will be relocating from Georgia to Concord, NC area. Does anybody have any helpful info on daycares, schools, and good safe areas to live? We are looking to rent first and then buy later. Can anyone help us?

From what I have seen in Concord there aren't any "bad" areas. I have never lived there, but I have know some people that do. I have spent a lot of time in Concord and never had any uneasy feelings like I get in some spots of Charlotte. There are many big homes and nice suburban areas.
