Im looking for a restaurant that will have nice telivision to catch the game or race at?

I was shocked the nice Flat screens at TGIF but I want to try somewhere else and would love to hear opinions or suggestions.

Two I been debating over is

Midtown has the 70incher in the covered patio. Rusty Rudder has a big screen. Big Al's has several. But Fox and Hound may be the "nicest" sports bar up here.

Fox and hound at Northlake is less crowded than birkdale and they have a movie screen.

Rusty Rudder.
Mac's exit 28 just opened and I am sure they have flat screens. They have great food.
Hickory Tavern has great tvs and is usually packed.
Tailgators is a great choice it is easy to watch the screens

Try Tailgaters at Rosedale in Huntersville. Also, try Harvey's at Vermillion in Huntersville.

I stopped in Tailgaters and the staff must been preoccupied to seat us and we couldnt get them to change one TV to the race and the table was very sticky so we left.
I just check there health inspection ratings and they only got a 90 on there september inspection, and 93 before that one and a 86 rating the one previous that one. I am glad I didnt eat there!!

Fox and hound was very nice on the inside Love the Wide Screen, but again no race.

So we ended up just going to Chili's, regular little normal tv

I will have to try Harvey's for the last race of the season.

Im saving Rusty and Midtown for next summer as places I want to check out by parking via boat.

I guess I should scope these places out and buddy with the server to change a tv. I can understand if a place on has a few TV's but they all dont have to be on a game. This way I can watch a game and my pookie can watch the race.

I passed the new restraunt/bar in Cornelius across from Raceworld USA the other night, and it looks like the TVs are flatscreen. I did't notice a huge one, but a large quantity that are probably hi-def panels. Can't say for sure as I was driving past and not looking with a purpose! Oh, I believe it is called Mar's and it is on Liverpool Pkwy between Catawba and Sefton Park
