My first rush hour on Independence (Charlotte: new construction, live, office)

Wow guys I've been in charlotte for about a year now. I've seen online that independence is horrible during morning and evening rush hour traffic but boy did I take that for granted. I dropped my boyfriend off at work off Sardis road and I think oh this isn't to bad. Lol boy was I wrong I swear the rush hour traffic here reminded me of rush hour traffic in Los Angeles
lol. But I've seen the new construction and I said wow independence is truly becoming the gateway into Charlotte and its starting to show. Hell bad traffic but I liked the drive to uptown. Charlotte is truly a urban city

I've lived in LA and don't think it is nearly as bad as that. What time you leave during rush hour makes a big difference, I usually make sure to be on the road by 7:10 and it takes me about 30 minutes to get to my office which is 13 miles away.

The difference between 7:15 to 7:30 is huge...

8AM is an awful time to be on Independence.
