I am planning on moving back to Charlotte, NC before 2015. I have an apartment complex picked out. I want to work in a hospital. I am studying office admin/medical office admin. What is the closest hospital to Camden Habersham Apartments?
What is everyone's thoughts on Post Gateway Place and First Ward Place? Still considering other complexes just in case I cant get into Camden Habersham.
You can type the address of the complexes you are interested in and click go. Then on the bottom (or top depending on browser) there are pictures of restaurants, gas stations etc. Click on the hospital and it will show you all the hospitals closest to it.
Closest to the Habersham is the Carolina Medical hospital on Park Road. (CMC)
Location: The place where the road & the sky collide

We always tell people to get the job then find housing. Will that location work if the job ends up at Gaston Memorial or any of the other hospitals outside of Charlotte?
I don't know why I am posting this, as I doubtless will be called "unwelcoming," but I gotta tell ya . . . of all particular jobs to be looking for, with any level of skill and certification, medical office assisting is one of the worst possible certifications to be relying on right now.
CPCC has been grinding out folks w/ that certificate for years, as it has been attached to the "back to work" program for folks on subsistence programs. So the town is overflowing with out of work people w/ that degree.
That doesn't mean that someone, somewhere won't have an opening you can apply for. It just means you will be competing with literally hundreds of others for that same job. And it also means you can't just say . . . "I am going to find a job at X hospital."
You truly need to land a position b/f you move here.
Charlotte is still ranking as one of the cities with the highest unemployment in this entire nation.
