we live in sc now.. a little over an hour from waxhaw & are selling our house right now to get outta here!

we want to live someplace a little rural/ small townish.. but not to far from things to do , good schools, not to $$$ .
so.. we are thinking waxhaw might work for us & we have family in monroe.. dont know what part it is considered..but my niece & nephew are in the prospect/parkwood school district & love it ..
so they would to close to us & i know parts of waxhaw attend the same schools.
plus where my husband works now is only 30 minutes from waxhaw (we currently live about 30 the opposite way)

anyways.. we want to rent when we first move.. to make sure the area is right for us..
what are the rental properties like there? easy to find? hard?
what about prices.. we are looking for a 3 bedroom/2 bath.. but dosent have to be big & impressive.. just nice , modest
whats teh best way to find rentals there? i looked on the waxhaw website & found links to newspapers.. but the classfieds didnt have a whole lot...

Niki, I think you would need to contact a realtor who deals in rental properties in Union county - google that and see what you come up with. BUT, don't expect to find much to rent in Waxhaw. There are no apartment complexes and the homes are upscale in most places so if there would be one to rent it would probably be expensive. Good luck!

Hi Nikki,
I just went on the MLS and saw some options for you for house rentals. I can e-mail you what they are -- just PM me
