Montibello is between Carmel Road and Colony and is about 2.5 miles inside of 51.

This actually happened in my area when there was a rezoning away from Providence High to South Meck a few years ago. There was an uproar from the parents protesting this very move. It's a school I was watching to see if the numbers have improved since the rezoning. (I am also watching the Union county schools affected by the latest rezoning as well under similar circumstances)

While several parents I know affected by the South Meck rezoning did put their kids in private schools, others didn't and their kids did just fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it as it isn't by far the worse school by any means.

South Meck High was good enough for former Mayor Patrick Cannon.

Momtothree, did the numbers improve since the rezoning?

Maybe it's the homes I'm looking at or maybe I'm defining South Park incorrectly. For example, a few homes in Montibello I looked at are zoned for Beverly Woods; Carmel Middle; South Meck.

Sorry for such a late response. Yes, were very happy with AK. My son graduated in 2012.
