Even happier to see the three places we're considering buying a home (Matthews/Stallings/Mint Hill) on the list!

I don't know if there is an exact definition of what is and isn't a city, but is it really fair to put places like Mint Hill or Matthews on a "safe city" list? Maybe I am being too literal, but it makes them seem to be something they aren't.

Totally agree.. Charlotte will never be on the list if the people make it compare Mint Hill and Matthews.. Well at least Matthews is bigger than Mint Hill..

Well, I am moving from a place that is nowheresville and it's not on the list, so I am happy to see some life where I am heading to.

Ridiculous to have Pinehurst number one. Pinehurst is a small village consisting of a golf resort, some really nice small restaurants, retired people with money and even more golf courses.

It's a great place to live but it is certainly not a city compared to others on the list.

Pinehurst has a fair amount of theft, but it usually involves other people's spouses

Well to be fair Raleigh came in at #34. And along those lines it looks like their burbs kinda dominated the Top 10. Oh well...
