We took our son to Chesterbrook for a couple of years, in Mooresville, and they were great. Never had any issues and he enjoyed it as well. They do many activities to help prepare the children for school, versus just being a big daycare. A friend of mine was taking his daughter to a "big daycare" and switched over to Chesterbrook and couldn't believe the difference and what his daughter started learning once she was in a more structured environment.

The story linked above is very sad and it's the first time I'd heard of it. Chesterbrook is (or at least was) a 5 star facility so that is very surprising but it'd still be surprising even if it was a 3 or 4 star place.
