We have a couple cats that are hanging out on our back porch.

This time of year, we like to have the doors and windows open. But these two cats are driving our dog- and us- crazy. I had to run one out that was sitting at the door opening.

I hate cats. I'm allergic to them. I really don't like these. Is this something that Animal Control handles? Or do I have to find other means to get rid of them?

Yes. Animal Control handles feral and stray cats. Be sure not to feed them. Otherwise you could be responsible for them (license, shots, tag, etc.).

You can make it unpleasant for them to come on your property by putting mothballs wherever they hang out. Mothballs also keep racoons and possums away.
