Does anyone on this thread work in uptown? If so what is the commute from the Cabarrus section?

My husband commuted to uptown for awhile. He had to be to work by 7am so he left at 6:30. He was at work by 6:50 everyday. He worked near BOA stadium. The ride home was longer. 45 minutes.

We live by the green of the 8th hole and you are correct. The Cabarrus county side's lots in Skybrook have all been long since gone. The only lots available for development within our community are on the Mecklenburg COUNTY side (near the 6th hole). The original plan (7 years ago) was for those to all be 1+ million $ homes but we got hit like the rest of the economy and that builder (Toll Brothers) pulled out three years ago and Saussy and others picked up the lots and are building homes similar to the rest of Skybrook's price point (between $300K & $500K).
