I don't live in Bonterra, but I live very near. It depends on the route you are taking to uptown. I travel to Fort Mill, so I have to travel 485 from Idlewild/Secrest Shortcut, but the traffic doesn't usually back up until 7. To get to uptown we usually continue up Idlewilde to where it meets 74 and go west. It usually takes us bout 35 to 40 minutes on an average day, not in morning and evening traffic. I live in Glendalough, so it's about a mile? from Bonterra. I can't tell you about living in Bonterra, I have friends that live there. It all depends on what you are looking for.

We closed in December, so we are in the newer area. At the moment, I really don't have any neighbors, just houses going up. I love my house. Of all of the new builders that we looked at, this was the only one that everything clicked into place. Everyone I have met here has been very nice and friendly. We had a couple of minor issues just after closing and they took care of them immediately. It's very quite. We just had a get together at the pool yesterday. I'm looking forward to our area being filled, so that we have neighbors and the construction crews are gone. LOL

I don't live in Bonterra, but I DO live in a neighborhood that is being developed by Bonterra. Our house was built by the original developer (thank goodness!) before BB took over. We have had horrible soil erosion/drainage/water issues caused by their gross incompetence in properly grading the lots that are around us. We have had to pay roughly 5,000 out of OUR pocket to fix water issues THAT WERE CAUSED BY THEM. Our mailbox was damaged by one of their trucks and they would not replace it. Most recently, they KNOWINGLY brought sod in that was infected with Army worms. Not one person was notified and now everyone on our street has dead grass/sod. This would have been a simple fix if it had been addressed early on but instead now everyone has a huge problem which is going to cost MORE money to fix. They have no concern once you are moved in. I could go on and on. Stay away from Bonterra Buidlers!

Commute at 6:30? 45 minutes to an hour.
