That's good to see Sunny. It burns me sometimes to go through the hassle of doing things the right way (registration, inspection, etc.) and seeing others skate by with nary a glance from law enforcement.
Hey...we "skate" because we have the "I support local law enforcement" magnet on our car....That $5 donation outta get us something now...c'mon....
Simple, just get your DL and car registration at the same time. If you get pulled over they won't know you live in NC if your DL says otherwise. Little chance that I am going to change after 30 days of taking up permanent residence - I have nearly a year left in the state i came from.
Unless you have NC insurance. They will normally check all 3 when pulled over.

Is it really worth taking the risk, driving illegal and maybe paying hefty fines. Just convert over like you are suppose to, live right and you will be OK!
