Dalton Dynamics Corp. will invest at least $2 million in a 25,000-square-foot plant in Gastonia in a vacant plant on Tulip Drive. It will produce industrial adhesives for automotive and other industries.
The Brazil-based company, which expects to hire about 25 people, credits the area's proximity to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and quality of life.

The jobs number may appear small but with today robotic and automation only key plant positions would be needed. The non official job numbers are not calculated what is involved in shipping etc.

I noticed on company site this Gastonia location is the only North America location with other two in Brazil and Spain and the company tries to be environmentally friendly too.

I know. A lot of jobs have been replaced by automation. My experience with this type of job is that these plants tend to pay much better than the old-fashioned factories & mills did.
