My fiancee and I are getting married in October 2015, and are looking for a wedding venue that won't break the bank!
We have catering, alcohol and cake so we need some place that will allow us to use our own vendors.
Outdoor ceremony, indoor reception. We would like to do it in one place, but are open to a short driving distance. We still need a photographer and a GREAT DJ, and want to spend as little as possible. We don't mind doing our own setup...
Looking at Colonel Francis Beatty Park Lakepointe Hall, but it is limited to 120 guests and we are expecting about 150...
Open to any and all suggestions - thanks!!

150 guests on a budget is going to be tough I'm afraid.

Love this place! Weddings at St. Mary's Chapel - Charlotte, NC

But I also really like Outdoor Weddings at Col. Francis Beatty Memorial Park

oops, just saw St. Mary's is limited to 100 guests, sorry!

yeah, we thought that having food taken care of would keep costs down, but some venues still want to charge $50+ per person!

It would make sense for you to post what affordable means to you.

Can you afford 50-60 a person all inclusive cost including food/venue/ceremony.....

If so, the Alexander Homestead might be good for you.

Affordable means I can make a beautiful wedding without stressing over the price.
I don't mind setting up for everything, but I need a DJ, photographer and venue - I would like to keep the combination of those 3 things under $5,000. I would like a venue that is $2,000 or less....there is wiggle room
