My honey hurt his back at work two days ago thought it may be better today but it isn't. I told him we will stay home as he is very uncomfortable can't sit or stand too long....Made our apologies and of course our friends wish him well and understand. We will stay home and celebrate as I can't ask him to stay out so late and be in pain and I wouldn't leave him alone...
Well, you playing chef sounds like a very nice way of celebrating New Year's Eve, even if you didn't plan it that way all along! I know I surely appreciate it when DH steps in and takes over in the kitchen.
He just brought me a nice fresh cup o' java. Sure means a lot to us when our guys are so thoughtful . . .
Happy New Year, Groove!!!! Here's to a wonderful 2008 for you and your honey!!!!
Thanks! I am usually the chef in our house anyway. She was helping out a little bit but since she is taking the Coumadin now it's not a good idea for her to be around knives or hot things.
I would be there if she didn't have to work tomorrow morning in the am. I dont wanna leave her home by herself since she isn't feeling too well.
I understand. It is gonna be packed to fire code capacity and blazing hot. Thank God it is gonna be cool outside on the patio to get cooled off, but even that will be packed.

Well, sounds like you all may be gazing at that waterford ball on Times Square, too. LOL. Hope DH's back gets better quickly . . . that is a genuine handicap. I hope worker's comp is gonna cover the medication, time off, etc.
Here's sending you good wishes for a happy, healthy 2008, Momof2!!!!
