taxis, cabs are so passe'. I will never use a taxi again, more bad experiences than good, they are like your cable company, service sucks. Long wait times and many times you can't understand driver. I've used it in Dallas, South Beach, Charlotte, NYC and Indy next week. All good experiences. I normally wait on my car for service work (Cigar at Tinderbox while I wait), they said it would be awhile so I called Uber for $10 ride home and same on return. My daughter in UpTown uses Uber for bar hopping and to airport. Don't have to worry about exchanging money or tipping
