We are building a new home. Will be using Plantation shutters throughout. Just moved here so need some help with recommendations for good companies with good prices. I 'think' we are better served by a company who manufactures their own along with selling and installing.

I don't live in your area, so I can't help with company recs. I spent about 10k on plantation shutters (~1900 sq feet townhome).

Call the Louvre Shop. They were excellent at our place and reasonable. High quality as well.

Although they are not made by the installer as you requested, I believe the plantation shutters from Hunter Douglas are excellent quality
