I just ate at Jimmy Johns on Monroe Rd. in Matthews tonight and it was the BEST sandwich I have ever eaten. I guess they just opened and are new to Charlotte. Just wanted to let everyone know about the place.

There's been one just off of WT Harris. It's okay, nothing to really rave home about. The "Big John" was pretty good though.

Exactly! I don't really see anything special about Jimmy John's, it is no where near better than Jersey Mikes, there are more topping choices choices there and you get a lot more meat for the same price. I ate at Jimmy John's one time on Harris and was disappointed.

this is very much true. but i still love jimmy john's.

there's one uptown too (although i'm not sure how long it's been around). i'm not saying it's the greatest sandwich you'll ever eat, but if you're looking for a reasonably priced, tasty sandwich, it's tough to beat JJ's - especially if you want something fast.

Went to the one in Mooresville. Second time I was there. So good . . . really cool people. I kinda felt good because they totally recognized me. This wouldn't be so cool if I was always there, but this was only the second time!! Must say it was cool. Anyway, they were really fast with my order and it tasted great!

So was it cool?

Is this the same sub place that's in the YMCA at Mallard Creek and Harris? I wasn't too impressed with my sandwich if it was.

So glad to hear that these are in Charlotte. I have become addicted to the Country Club sandwich here at school. Very good, but it's true about the calorie content. I will still be stopping in a few when I relocate.
