The Church I would belong to is here, and I was wondering what the area was like.

That's one of the nicer area's in Charlotte, Dillworth. You're very unlikely to have any problems there. Very close to center city and the new light rail, too. Thinking of moving there?

No, just going to be going to that Church probably. Looking at Huntersville now as a relocation destination.

For me I find East Blvd relative safe but not cozy. Meaning I try to stay alert but I am not scared. There is lots of great restaurants on East Blvd. You just need to be concern if you cross the rail road tracks onto West Blvd.
I try my best not to use that Texaco at the Corner of East Blvd & South Blvd at night, but if I do it type of place I lock the car even all I am going to do is pay the attendant and I watch what is going on pumping gas.
That area is known as Dilworth and is one of my favorite places in Charlotte. I like the kind of people in that area. To me it down to earth and hanging out at Caribou Coffee is one of my summer past times. Also on lower end of East Blvd is Freedom Park and it is very large with wide variety of activity. The greenway I am not sure about it felt spookiy to me.

Yeah that Texaco can get a little shady. But that neighborhood is one of the top ones in Charlotte. Really, almost anywhere in Charlotte is safe at 11 a.m. on a Sunday morning.
