Sealed Air to build headquarters complex at LakePointe Corporate Center Sealed Air Corp. (NYSE:SEE) has chosen a permanent site for its Charlotte headquarters.
The packaging company plans to construct a three-building office complex in the LakePointe Corporate Center office park off Tyvola Road that Childress Klein Properties will develop, according to a company spokesman.
Sealed Air expects to break ground this summer and complete the project by the end of 2016

Its Charlotte Division stores are serviced by the Atlanta Division's distribution centers. A Charlotte Division distribution center should be realized as additional stores open in the division.

Hitachi Opens New Charlotte Ink Research and Development Center Hitachi America, Ltd. announced the opening of its ink research and development facility in north Charlotte. The new facility, located at 5900 Northwoods Parkway, will initially employ five people.
South Korean Manufacturer Opens Technical Center and Manufacturing Facility in Charlotte
YG-1 USA announced that it is establishing a technical center and manufacturing facility in Charlotte. The facility, which will be the first of its kind for the South Korean company, will serve as a hub for the research, development, engineering and training of leading technologies in the cutting tool industry. High performance custom cutting tool solutions for the aerospace, medical and power generation industries will also be manufactured at the site located at 11001 Park Charlotte Blvd.
BBVA Compass Opens Permanent Office in Uptown Charlotte BBVA Compass announced that it will officially establish a location in uptown Charlotte. The company’s new office, which will house loan processing operations, will be at 330 S. Tryon St., the same building as the Charlotte Chamber.
The Daniels Company, a subsidiary of Chinese firm Beijing Guohua Technology Group (BGTG), has purchased 6201 Fairview Road in SouthPark for its U.S. headquarters. The Charlotte office will also serve as a future operations management facility for The Daniels Company and BGTG. The Daniels Company also plans to establish a manufacturing facility of coal processing equipment in Charlotte.
Irongate Home Finance Opening Corporate HQ in Charlotte Creating 125 Jobs Irongate Home Finance, LLC, a home mortgage company, will open its corporate headquarters office in uptown Charlotte in April 2014. The company has leased 21,000 square feet in the First Citizens building located at 128 S. Tryon St., creating approximately 125 new jobs over the next 18 months. The company will continue to grow by 75-100 jobs per year through 2019.
NuScale Power to Open Charlotte Office NuScale Power, an Oregon-based energy company, is opening an operations and engineering center in Charlotte. NuScale is designing and commercializing a Small Modular Reactor (SMR) light water reactor nuclear power plant for applications in government and commercial sectors worldwide. The company’s new Charlotte office will be co-located with Fluor, initially housing 70 employees.
