I think (hope) we've finally found our house... inspection this week - fingers crossed. It's in the Willowmere subdivision in South Charlotte (off McKee and Weddington Roads near Colonel Francis Beatty Park). I notice there are lots of different neighborhood names to differentiate areas of Charlotte, i.e. Ballantyne, Myers Park, Cotswold, NoDa, etc. What is the area Willowmere is in called? Thanks!

I don't know that it has a name. Matthews-ish?

I'd describe it as being between Ballantyne and Matthews. I don't think there really is a more descriptive name for that area.

Could either be Providence Plantation or Stallings.

It's definately neither of those. Providence Plantation is a specific neighborhood. Stallings in not by that either Basically you would say you live in south charlotte near the outskirts of Matthews.

It's a tough area to nail down. I'd describe it as between Matthews and Weddington. There really is no name for that area.

Not according to google maps. The cross roads given are between the two communities.

I don't think the OP is asking what town it is near, I believe OP is asking what area the home is in. Mathews is a town and Dilworth, Myers Park etc... are areas not towns; or communities as some call them.

And "between" is not the same as "in".

Dilworth, Myers Park etc. are neighborhoods. And they have more or less distinct boundaries. One is either in the neighborhood, or not in. Same with Providence Plantation.
