Ok, I know another furniture question! I'm looking for a glass top kitchen table. I'd really like glass/ metal- no wood bottom. No fancy designs just basic legs. Any ideas where I can find one?
It might be a bit of a drive for you, as I have no idea where you are, but you might try Furniture Factory Outlet World in Waxhaw. I think I remember seeing glass top dining room tables there, but their inventory changes so often, they might be gone already.
what size are you looking for? I just got a round glass top table with silver metal legs, sort of unpolished aluminum looking, with 4 black chairs from ashley's furniture. they had 2 kinds, a "pub" table and a regular height (sorry, not up to speed on my furniture talk). here's the link to it on their website: View Large Product Images

If you want to check out some local stores, try Brawley's in Mooresville. It's the white bldg on the corner of Hwy 3 & rte 115. It might look like a dump from the outside, but there's lots to see inside & the prices are good. I purchased my son's bedroom set from them & my cousin has practically decorated her whole house from there. They also have books you can look through & if you see something you like somewhere else, they might be able to get a better price for you. I'm always in there looking to see what's new.
Another local store in Mooresville is Gibson Bros. in town on Main St. Furnitureworld is closing (on Hwy 150 next to Kohl's), so you might find some sales there. Kagan's is in the same shopping mall. I bought a wall unit there that I absolutely love. I also got my kitchen set from them for less $$ than Ashley was selling it for.
I purchased one from Value City, great price and great wooden legs.
