They (Moss Creek) look to have a commercial district under way. The areas like Huntesville etc have access to the village riders (bus) that goes to all the major stores.

I actually grew up in that area and can tell you just about anything there is to know. The "Moss" family were good friends of ours.

Moss Creek - that is the Concord area? I'm looking into that area as well. I heard the schools are good - Harris Middle School? I'm hoping this is an area in the outskirts of Charlotte a little away from some of city life - looking for a little more elbow room but still need to be a drivable distance to the airport. How is the housing? I'm looking for a 4/2 with hardwood floors, and some property in up to the $225,000 range. I've looked on the real estate sites and I'm not too impresssed.
Any suggestions?

Moss Creek has its own school at the edge of the neighborhood. Not sure of the name. As with most new neighborhoods the lots are getting smaller and the houses are getting bigger.

Let me know if you need anything.

Moss Creek has at it entrance...Harris Road Middle and a new elementary school that is called W.R. Odell. It is a replacement elementary for the old Odell built in 1927. A new high school is going to be built in that area very soon. I was an assistant principal for 10 years and know just about everything about the schools. Currently in Real Estate and know the housing market very well.

Only downside to the area...traffic.
