I think it's a beautiful community of custom homes. They have a lot of inventory right now.

If you are buying new in this price point, please be sure you are planning to stay in Charlotte at least 2 years after the community is done...otherwise you risk competing with the builders (a VERY difficult task) when you need to sell.

Your wife might be able to gather a lot of information from her instructors since she is getting lisc. here in NC. They are usually wonderful sources of information and have possibly had previous students who have given them feedback on the neighborhood you're interested in. They (RE instructors) also visit new home communities, open houses, and community grand openings and stay "inside the loop" with the area market.

I like Wyndham Hall's location better -- closer to more options for shopping, though more is coming in Rose Hill and Hadley Park. You know how it goes, where the people go the retail follows Where will you be working -- that will help to determine which location miight be better.

Wyndham Hall is closer to your work by 15-20 minutes (without traffic). With traffic I'm not sure, but you will be driving with the traffic going to uptown. (Of course if your hours are other than 9-5 it should be much better traffic wise)
